She was captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the in 2016 the "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She took home a team gold medal during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to win back-to-back gold medals from this event. Raisman also took home silver in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman has silver medals from the individual all-around, as well as the floor exercise. She is also the two-time champion of the national championship of floor exercises (2012,2015) in 2012, and the 2012 champion national of balance beam and five times medallist in all-around events at national championships (silver and bronze in 2016 2010 and 2011 and 2012 as well as 2012 and 2015). She was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
