Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Her parents are Italian (from a paternal grandson), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda grew in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of four siblings. When she was 10, she became interested in acting after she performed in a school Christmas play. She performed in school plays as well as local community theater. Linda attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. After she graduated, Linda had to choose between moving in New York or Los Angeles and pursue a theater degree. Following her graduation, she was required decide whether or not to pursue television and film in Los Angeles. Linda performed her first big part as a character Bone Chillers, a 1996 TV show. Her breakthrough part came when she was cast in Freaks and Geeks (1999). In the acclaimed series she played the role of decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show received an Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). She is an English actor. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career on the British television show Just William (2010). Cinderella (2015) became her debut film after she was the lead actress in Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey which was a period drama. James later played the the Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV version of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in numerous films such as Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018, and The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). The portrayal she gave of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 won her the Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards.
