Robyn Rihanna who is also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian pop songwriter and singer. Her hits include such as Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known performer who has sold over 41 million albums around the world and more than 150 million songs. Born in Barbados, she grew up the joy of reggae, and even began singing when she was a young child. When she was disturbed by the turbulent nature of her household life and constant fights with her father, she was absorbed with music. Soon after, she realized she was destined to make it as a professional. While still in highschool, she formed a music group and was asked to sing with Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talent of this teenager. Rihanna moved from the city of her birth to New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna made her debut album, and was an instant hit. The songs of Rihanna were most popular among young people, motivating her into film. Being a gifted young lady Rihanna has been recognized as a teen idol. Rihanna is also actively involved with charities and makes use of her celebrity status to benefit charities.
